Location
Cookham is divided into three specific villages bordering the banks of the River Thames to the North, and set amongst beautiful rolling countryside. Cookham Village boasts a picturesque High Street with the Thames to its northern side. Cookham Rise is a bustling centre with shops catering for everyday needs and Cookham Dean is set a mile uphill amidst rolling countryside with fine residencies many of which are set in a conversation area giving access to many country pursuits including walking, horse riding and bird watching.

Amenities
The three centres in Cookham all offer excellent primary schools, a nursery school in Cookham Rise and a private school catering for nursery through to 11 years in Cookham Dean. There is a post office stores in Cookham Dean and numerous shops in Cookham Rise for everyday needs. In addition there is a medical centre, dentist and a library. In the picturesque High Street of the old village there are numerous boutique style shops with a fine selection of restaurants and pubs, there are further restaurants and pubs throughout the Cookham area with hotels nearby in Marlow and Maidenhead. There are three churches and a thriving community spirit with village halls at Cookham Rise and the Dean.

Communications
For the commuter access to the national motorway network couldn’t be better with access to the M4 at Maidenhead junction 8/9 approximately five miles distant and the M40 motorway approximately 4 miles distant, both can be accessed via the A404 Marlow bypass and in turn lead to the M25. There is a branch line rail station at Cookham Rise servicing Paddington via Maidenhead with the journey time taking approximately 40 minutes. There are regular bus services to High Wycombe, Bourne End and Maidenhead.
